Jacqueline Shaw

Jacqueline Shaw has been practicing yoga since 1999. Having explored many different styles including ashtanga, iyengar,vinyasa flow as well as yin and experiencing the benefits from each of them, she decided to share her love for yoga and completed her initial teacher training with Byron Yoga centre in 2014.

After studying the deep connection between the mind and the energetic body it was a natural progression for Jacqueline to complete her Yin Yoga teacher training with Jo Phee (senior assistant to Paul Grilley) in 2015. She is constantly learning and adapting the practice and has attended workshops with Les Leventhal, Simon Borg-Olivier, Tiffany Cruickshank and Seane Corn.

For Jacqueline, yoga goes much deeper than the asana and her focus is on bringing all eight limbs into the practice. Encompassing these and working on a deep fascial level allows the safe release of past physical and emotional wounds.

Jacqueline is also an Emergency Nurse Practitioner and works in a busy metropolitan Emergency Department near Perth. She has an advanced knowledge of anatomy and pathophysiology and uses this to ensure that her students are safe and well supported in their practice.

Anita Foster

Anita Foster is a certified Forrest Yoga Teacher (RYT-200), she completed her training with Ana Forrest in 2015. With over 10 years of personal practice, she has a passion for yoga, health and well-being.

Anita took her first yoga class back in 1997 and decided that it was not for her, but after giving yoga another go in 2003, she never looked back. As a child, Anita studied ballet and in more recent years balanced her yoga practice with Flamenco dancing, running, swimming and Pilates. After a chronic running injury put her marathon dreams on hold, she has been drawn into an even deeper yoga practice for its holistic healing benefits.

Anita has experienced different styles of yoga including, ashtanga, hatha, yin & yoga nidra, power yoga and vinyasa flow. However, it is the intelligent sequencing of a Forrest Yoga practice that resonates with her most and she is excited to be able to share this style of yoga with you.

She has completed the three day training with Rainbow Kids Yoga, and will also be achieving her intermediate certification in Yoga Therapy for Children with Global Family Yoga in November 2015. Anita lives in Sydney.
