

She is a committed yogini and yoga teacher with an in-depth background in Vipassana & Minfulness meditation, Ashtanga Vinyasa yoga, Iyengar yoga, Vinyasa style, Yin Yoga and the living yogi lifestyle in general. Her pleasant nature, contagious enthusiasm and warm heart inspire students to do their very best. Satya has studied with many great teachers and masters in Europe, America and India since 1983.
The great influences in her life have been the Tibetan master namkhai Norbu Rimpoche, Sri Ramana Maharshi, her guru H. W. I. Poonja (Papaji), Dalai Lama, B. K. S Iyengar, Guruji Pattabi Jois vipassana teacher S. N Goenka. Parahamsa Nithyananda; Richard Freeman, Clive Sheridan, Sarah Powers ,Tsultrim Allione, Dona Holleman and Orit Sen Gupta.
She traveled the last 9 years regularly to Mysore, India, to study with Pattabhi Jois, the founder of the Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga method. She’s a certified Iyengar yoga teacher.
Co-founder of the Yoga Moves Teacher Training in the Netherlands and the Gaiatree-yoga International Teacher Training. Co-founder of Yogatree, Blaricum, Netherlands. She recently ended her one year work as Yoga and Meditation Instructor for Como Shambhala Estate in Ubud- Bali.
She gives retreats, workshops and courses throughout Europe, Asia & South the America.

Sahaj's main Hatha yoga teacher was Sri K Pattabhi Jois of Mysore, India. He traveled to India over a period of 8 years to study ashtanga yoga with him from the mid nineties. Other important teachers he has directly learned from include: T.K.V. Desikachar, Chennai, India son of the great yoga master Krishnamacharya . Lama Zopa Renpoche, Vajrayana Buddhist master Nepal and India. S.N Goenka, Vipassana Meditation master. Zen Master Hogen, Japanese Zen meditation. Dr. Vagesh Shashtri, Varanasi India, sanskrit/tantra and kundalini yoga master. Santiago Dobles, qi gong, kundalini and Tibetan Bon Po shamanic techniques, and many others who have given their precious knowledge including recently the Balinese Priestess Maha Rsi Alit who is guiding him in the Tantric Yoga of Avadhuta Mukti.
