Developing Your Yoga Practice
This 6 day/5 night retreat brings together two of our islands most inspiring yoga teachers: Wayan, a local Balinese, and Janet, an expat from Canada who relocated here in 2010. Bringing together their shared knowledge, love and perspectives on yoga, meditation, mindful living and local culture, this retreat offers a perfect blend of Eastern and Western insights and practices.
Join them for an unforgettable week to nurture, restore and renew your connection to nature, to yourself, and to your body, mind and spirit. Learn how the ancient yoga practices and traditional Balinese customs can help bring balance and clarity to your own life. With two daily yoga classes, spa treatments and delicious healthy food, you'll leave this retreat physically and mentally stronger, thoroughly rested, and with an abundance of energy, clarity and knowledge on how to sustain a more healthy yogic lifestyle.

Sometimes I rise for Sun Salutations and an active practice, sometimes I lie back on some pillows... Continue reading

Yoga and Meditation
Blending her studies in Ashtanga, Iyengar, Anusara, and Restorative, Janet draws on these styles to offer students unique classes weaving together the best of each tradition. Janet’s emphasis is to support each student in developing a safe yoga practice that is fine-tuned to their level. With this in mind, each student will receive hands-on adjustments, appropriate pose modifications and personalized suggestions of a practice they take away with them.
