Immerse Yourself in Bali is led by Wayan Partawan, a lover of yoga, chanting and Kirtan. Wayan is a certified yoga teacher from Yoga Arts in Australia. Besides assisting retreat leaders from the world over, Wayan is also one of our in house teachers.

During the six days of this retreat, go deeper in the daily yoga and meditation practice, enjoy blissful spa treatments, discover the beautiful countryside around Ubud by walking in the rice field and taking an exhilarating bike ride from Kintamani and fall in love with Wayan's chanting.

Wayan is a lover of yoga, dance and Kirtan. He originally joined ONEWORLD Retreats as yoga teacher assistant but was soon given the opportunity to lead his own retreats. Wayan completed his yoga teacher training with Yoga Arts (a Yoga Alliance Accredited teacher training) in 2010 and is a certified yoga teacher.

ONEWORLD retreats at Kumara


The fourteen bedroom holistic retreat is located 1.5 km from the heart of Ubud in Bali. Bordered by a small creek to the west, the eco-friendly retreat is surrounded by jungle and rice fields. The retreat centre offers two swimming pools, dining room, spa and 125 square meter yoga studio open to nature.

Each room is air-conditioned, has its own terrace, mini-bar and bathroom. Comfortable yet unpretentious. For our guests' ultimate serenity, we welcome guests of a minimum age of 14 years.

Yoga and Meditation

Ashtanga Yoga, combined with Hatha and Iyengar
The meditation and yoga sessions are a soft approach to what may become part of one's daily life. Through meditation and yoga, people from around the world and all levels of society have reached incredible results in balancing the body, mind and spirit therefore achieving more focus and in control over life's daily events.

Contemplative Meditation
During this session, you shall watch your thoughts, without any intention to either control or repress them. Just simply watch and being aware of each movement of the thought and see they move without you being moved by them.


All your meals are included and most are served at the resort.

Our chefs are experienced and eager to offer you the freshest, most tasteful and healthy meals. From our "table d'hôte" you may choose to eat vegetarian or non vegetarian meals. Just like at a friend's place, there are no menus, yet we make sure to know what you like and dislike!

Meals are served either in the jungle dining room or in the privacy of your own balcony table.

Experiencing a day in silence
Today is a day for contemplation and to concentrate on your inner self. Silence helps one to reach a different level of consciousness and a better understanding of the self. The results are usually very enlightening and can be amazing.

Ayurvedic Chakra Dhara Massage - 2 ½ hour
Ayurveda is believed to be the oldest healing therapy. It is a holistic science that is more three thousand years old and focuses on health prevention longevity and natural healing.
An important part of the Ayurveda massage is called ''Chakra Dhara'' which consists of dripping warm herbal oil on the chakras (key energy points) in order to balance the energy flow and purify the body, mind and spirit. The therapist skilfully treats your body with an array of repetitive and slow movements such as kneading, squeezing and rubbing, resulting in the elimination of toxins and other organ's impurities.
The results are unbelievably good!
