Pilates & Stretching retreat for 6 days and 5 nights
General Information
The retreat maintains a calm relaxed, ‘do as you please’ vibe. You can choose to participate in everything or daydream all day! While we will be keeping you busy in the morning there are other activities to explore at your own leisure. Often these activities will be organized for the group if there is sufficient interest including snorkeling, bush walking, Balinese cooking classes, spa treatments and silver jewelry shopping. Our retreats continue to please and remain a valuable and unique experience for those who have joined us in the past.
The Pilates and Meditation
Each day Pilates and stretching will be offered over a two hour workshop. Pilates is designed to develop strong flexible muscles without bulk. The Pilates system improves spinal alignment and produces a longer leaner posture. In the sessions we will focus on core strength plus an overall dynamic routine for the whole body. The stretching covers safe, effective stretches for the whole body. Learn new skills that you can take home and use.
The lessons are suitable for all ages 16 years and over, no Pilates experience is required for this retreat. For those with experience, a suitable exercise program will be offered.
Each morning is started with a half hour meditation session. This is a time to learn simple relaxation and awareness techniques. It is not religious, but a valuable skill to help us in our personal awareness and development. This is suitable for everyone.

ACCOMMODATIONS
The ten bedrooms Holistic Retreat is located 1.5 km from the heart of Ubud in Bali. Bordered to the west by a small creek the eco-friendly retreat is surrounded by jungle and rice fields. The centre offers 2 swimming pools, dining room, Spa and a 100 sq. meter Yoga studio open to nature.
ROOMS
Each room is air conditioned, has its own terrace with garden mini-bar, bathtub and shower. Comfortable yet unpretentious.
For our guests' ultimate serenity, children under 14 are not permitted at the retreat.
MEALS
Most meals are served at the retreat.
You have the choice of vegetarian or protein meals.

Spa Treatments of the day
Mandi Lulur Floral Bath - 1hour 45 minutes
This 17th century Javanese royal treatment will make you feel on top of the world! Mandi lulur is the luxurious pre-wedding ritual of Indonesian women. This treatment moisturizes and restores the natural PH balance of your skin. It begins with a traditional body massage, followed by a body scrub to exfoliate dead cells using a mixture of turmeric, sandalwood and rice powder. Then, yoghurt is applied to refresh and open the pores of your skin.
The treatment ends with a fragrant blossom bath.

Day 4
Meet well known traditional Balinese healer Tjokorda Gede Rai for a healing session. Tjokorda Gede Rai is world renowned and considered one of the most important healers on the island of Bali. His clients have included headline celebrities and internationally renowned authors and medical experts, to local Balinese from remote parts of the Island. He has trained many healers worldwide, and his teachings come from traditional Balinese Lontars (sacred texts) passed down from generation to generation.
