Komang Desiani – My Yogini Guru, Louisa Sear (Part 3)

Louisa Sear, the founder of Yoga Arts from Byron Bay, Australia, has been practicing yoga since she was an adolescent, inspired by her mother, who often took her and siblings into the yoga classes with her. Yoga soon became her life and she started teaching others. Louisa says that it was not a conscious decision to become a yoga teacher, it just naturally happened, based on her passion and love for yoga. Louisa has lead Yoga Teacher Trainings in many places—from Byron Bay to China—but Bali is the place close to her heart. She fell in love with the Island of Gods when she first came here in 1991 and finds Bali the perfect place to be doing and learning yoga.

Komang Desiani or Desy is a teacher assistant at Oneworld Retreats in Ubud, Bali. To take the next step and to eventually start leading her own retreats, she embraced the opportunity to do her Yoga Teacher Training with Louisa and Yoga Arts. The training takes place in July on the beautiful grounds of the Yoga Arts location Shala Bali in Ubud. In this video, Desy is having a chat with Louisa about how she ended up as a yoga teacher and her love of Bali. Desy is so happy to be doing her training with this beautiful and experienced teacher with a life-long practice and is curious about what will be in store for her during the 21 days’ training. In addition to Louisa, there will be a whole team of experienced yoga teachers sharing their knowledge during the training.
