1. Why yoga?
Yoga is an all encompassing practice; a holistic yoga practice feeds and addresses the body, mind, and soul. For me, the practice of yoga is a constant, with lessons available for me to learn whenever I show up on my mat. My mat is a safe environment for me to explore the inner workings of my mind and body – it’s almost like an incubator for me to examine and nurture how I engage with the world. The more I show up and learn in my yoga practice, the more information I have to apply towards showing up authentically in the rest of my life.
2. How do you come back to your inner peace?
When in doubt, I come back to my breath! Following the movement of my breath throughout my body immediately brings me back to my center, especially if I don’t have the time to sit for a formal mediation. Breathing, Dancing, Laughing, and Meditating all bring me to my inner place of stillness!
3. Your top Wellness tip?
Do things that make you smile and laugh – nourish yourself from the inside out: make sure that all inputs that your body, mind, and soul are processing are nutrient rich and free of toxicity (this includes your food, relationships, environment, etc!)
